- While “A Farewell to Arms” ≠ not my favorite Hemingway ever, teaching it this spring is making me crazy homesick for the Isonzo/Soča valley. #
- Teaching boys to watch YouTube vids of Radiohead covering New Order and The Smiths, just to be 100% sure they’ll turn out all well-adjusted. #
- Am in love with the fact that the @BITWRATHPLOOB’s FriendFace Relationship Status is “It’s Complicated”. Pity there’s no “It’s Convoluted”. #
- Yeah, I’m going to let that typo go. Sorry, Faffmuffem. #
- @eriras: you have no idea how much. Now toddle off and enjoy your goose barnacles. #
- FINALLY got around to booking our transatlantic travel for July. Can already taste that first crabmeat salad sandwich roll on a bun. #

- So far, at least, Alek remains free of the pox as his brother festers with buboes. Must be the power of louing bluegras. #

Your theory holds water, as Adam never had the chicken pox as long as he could wear the lou-bluegras-you-bet-yer-ass shirt. Anyway, it makes perfect sense after a couple of vodka & tonics.
