Sometimes I want to dye
Post-egg-coloring I decanted the dye into some empty Campari Soda bottles and played around with off-camera flash. (The basic starting point for the lighting scheme came from Strobist).
If it’s not the dye but all those eggs that you’re looking to re-purpose, I’ve got a suggestion for that in the comments thread of the previous post.

Good job on the ordering by wavelength.
Beautiful shot.

Very nice. Are the outer bottles leaning in, or is this an illusion?

Erik: Wow! I just noticed that. It’s completely coincidental.
aquariumdrinker: Thanks. What you’re seeing is a little bit of barrel distortion that gives that sense of leaning in. I thought about correcting it in Photoshop but as I looked at it I decided that it contributed a little visual interest to the picture and that I was lazy.

Yeah, right. I bet your DVD’s are just “coincidentally” ordered alphabetically, too, huh?

I noticed the spectrum line-up too and assumed it was deliberate. It seems like something you’d do. And like something Erik would do. And, yeah, like something I’d do too.

So it’s true what they say: the internet is 100% impermeable to irony and sarcasm.
