Magda’s luck
Many thanks to the people who’ve written to say that they’re happy to see Magda contributing more to this site than just male children, sarcasm, gazpacho, and placentae. I’m happy about it, too, and was especially pleased to hear her say tonight, “It’s kind of sad that it’s the first of December already and we don’t have to post anything.”
I, too, was feeling all wistful about NaBloPoMo being over and am glad to see you here today.
If your archiving system wasn’t all buckwheat I would be able to find the post from some years back about water hitting the spoon in the sink just right and soaking Magda; the first time I realized she was not a mythical Euro vixen, but a real human being who washes dishes like the rest of us.

Oh shit, I did actually find it. I never thought the search would truly work. It’s always been nothing but buckwheat before. But I knew I wasn’t making it up!

I also found it thanks to the very helpful second comment above and then perused your photo archives. I’m baffled that I hadn’t perused them before now.
Two things strike me:
1. A Metallica t-shirt at a christening is genius.
