Simon: at one point I was planning to make November’s skies nothing but gray lumps, but then the sinus infection went away. Also, it wouldn’t have been fair to November here, because although we did have some dramatically crappy skies, most days were a good deal brighter.
SquamLoon: Last year’s NaBloPoMo left me feeling exhilarated but burned out. This year I made a conscious decision to dial it down, so I didn’t feel a whole lot of pressure — I kept the standards around here pretty low. Having Magda step up on several days when I felt extra lazy helped a lot with lowering the pressure, too. But I have to say that although this November was less fun, somehow, than last year’s NaBloPoMo, I enjoyed just posting whatever came up in the seine; as one correspondent wrote earlier in the month, “I love it. It erased all my filters. I’d trapped myself: because I so rarely posted, I started to feel like I could only post things that were somehow special.”
So, although the month and the NaBloPoMo event may be over, I’ll (we’ll?) be trying to post more frequently, if more trivially. I sort of like it that way.
P.S. Look into a feed-reader and you can forget about having to think about when to visit a given site.

Erik: And to think you had the audacity to call me out for a nerdy comment a while back….
To the owners if this site: nice 3×3 as always.

Image at top left is gorgeous, if slightly disturbing.
The one below it is beautiful, too.

You know, when I know you’re gonna post every day, I think to come here every day.
For what it’s worth.
Thanks for a great month, both of you!

I said this via email but let me say it here too: It is fantastic to have more Magda here.

I second Jane’s comment - more Magda is good (no disrespect to our gracious host, of course).
