September skies — Dalmatian edition
The internet is back! The internet is back!
September’s sky photos were all taken from the balcony of our holiday apartma on the island of Korčula in Croatia. They are brought to you by Traminac and various rosés.

All your sky pictures are great, but this collection makes me especially happy.

What was the exposure for the Big Dipper one? I am envious!

This month produced some especially fun sky pictures. I’m glad you like them. We took lots of slow shutter pictures this month. The Big Dipper one resulted from 82 seconds of shutter at f/3.5 and ISO 200, Loxias. Pictures 3, 6, and 9 also feature slow capture; the shutter for picture 3, which Magda made, was open for an excruciating four and a half minutes. In addition to killing her thumb, this also interfered with wine consumption.

I, for one, would never sacrifice wine consumption for the benefit of my blog.

Also, when I first read Traminac my brain rearranged it as Triaminic®.

Fair enough, Jane. The effects are not dissimilar.

Great skies indeed. More details on the traminac? Never had one from Croatia.
