Adam checks out the various functions (okay, one) of our new camera. Be on the lookout for his review.
So when he’s ready for a new passport, we’ll hand him the remote control and tell him to do it himself.

Here I’ve had this feeling of camera superiority because of my K100d and come to find I’ve been out gunned.
Seriously though, your review of the *ds is what caused me to buy a Pentax in the first place.
Is the K10 everything you dreamed it’d be?

Wow, I’m really flattered to think that I might’ve influenced someone’s camera purchase. The *ist DS continues to get use, but a visiting friend’s K100D impressed us a lot, and I had been getting itchy to upgrade since the *ist line’s successors began getting such great reviews last year. The K10 keeps the things I like about the *ist DS and adds a lot to love: image stabilization of course, hardware focus-point and metering selectors as well as buttons for RAW/JPG and autobracketing, flash in wireless trigger mode, nearly infinite control-customizing options — too many things to list here, but it is probably the last camera we’ll ever need to buy [Magda rolls eyes]. With the K100 and K10, it looks like Pentax has finally gotten things really right with their DSLR line.
