Heat of the hiatus

We couldn’t stand it any longer* and have decamped the isogloss for the coast of Catalunya. We won’t be gone long and will leave the BlogBot in charge. If he’s obedient you’ll be able to see a link to something we consider click-worthy every day or so. When you see (more) dogs playing poker, it means we’re on our way back and will resume our regular lethargic pace of summer non-vacation posting shortly. Thanks for coming, and stay cool.

What about an update. Yesterday it reached 36°C. Photographic evidence may be arriving shortly, if I gather the guts to go out in the sun to photograph a boiling thermometer.
