That’s fantastic. There’s something so optimistic about gardening (in its myriad forms) isn’t there?
My cats have never died from eating tulips (or daffodils or aloe or cayenne peppers [but they sure wanted to] or begonias or geraniums or bamboo) so Adam will probably be fine. Probably.

Hm, cats are known to adore eating tulips.
As for the pictures themselves, with their close-up clitoral points of view, it is very hard to put it more precisely than Sarcastro…

Tulip – only looks dirty.
In the first photo, the shoot looks like it’s being embraced by some tortoise made of twigs and humus. Or just dirt.
