The Barbie in winter
We’ve been having a spell of really remarkably cold weather for what is supposed to be “The California of Slovenia”. Last night it got down to about -8° C, cold enough that driving home the windshield washer fluid froze like sorbet as I tried to clear the gunge off. Talk about counterproductive.
When I lived near Branch Pond, Maine, I once spent an equally frigid day out taking pictures of ice. One of them was among the first pictures to be posted under the Random picture stream category, and I recently came across this one, too. It was a long winter for Barbie, I can tell you.
